Everything that isn’t on the schedule above: how packet pickup works, when to arrive, and what happens if the weather turns. Times for each start are listed above and announced by email before race week.

Packet pickup

Packet pickup happens the week before race day — exact days, times, and location are announced by email and posted here once confirmed. If you can’t make it during the week, race-day pickup opens before the first start; just plan extra time to grab your bib.

Getting there and getting parked

Arrive about an hour before your start time — race morning traffic around the festival is real. Parking areas and the start/finish location are mapped on the course maps page. Check-in is quick: no sign-in needed if you already have your bib.

On the course

• Water stations along the route and at the finish line
• EMS on site throughout the event
• Chip timing for the competitive 5K and 10K, with up to 2 hours to finish
• No pets on the course; strollers are best suited to the Fun Run / Walk

Weather policy

The race is rain or shine. In severe weather the course switches to a modified rain route, and any schedule changes are announced by email and on social media before the start.

Can’t make it after all?

Registrations are non-refundable, but you have two options: transfer to the virtual race and have your swag shipped to you, or defer your entry. Details and deadlines are in the FAQ.

After you finish

Collect your bluebonnet finisher’s medal, stay for the age-group awards ceremony — and then you’re standing in the middle of the Bluebonnet Trails Festival, so make a day of it.
